Tennis at Beckenham

Beckenham's Tennis Section can cater for all standards of tennis player, on a wide variety of surfaces in all year round play. The club is famous for having hosted the pre-Wimbledon tournament for over 100 years.

The Tennis section also run their own website at www.beckenhamtennisclub.co.uk and an email newsletter, the Tennis Bulletin. 

Courts

The club has eighteen tennis courts available, six grass, four floodlit "Plexicushion" acrylic and eight tarmac, of which three are also floodlit.

Club and Team Play

The section offers an excellent balance of club and team play both during the week and at weekends, and with a wide range of abilities, players can always be assured of a good game.

A number of teams play in summer and winter Kent leagues.

Coaching

We can offer coaching for all standards of players, whether juniors or seniors from full-time professional coaches working at the club.

Junior Tennis

Junior Tennis is very popular with excellent coaching facilities available for juniors. The club also hosts a number of LTA sanctioned junior tournaments.

Pay and Play

Courts can also be booked by members of the local community to "pay and play" at off-peak times during the week.
