Tennis Section

Beckenham Tennis Club was established in 1879 and is one of the largest and longest-surviving lawn tennis clubs in the south-east of England, providing its members a friendly and welcoming environment to play tennis in a beautiful setting in north-west Kent.

The club was the venue for a famous pre-Wimbledon international grass-court tournament from 1886 to 1996.

We have six grass and twelve hard courts, seven of which are floodlit. We aim to make every member feel welcome, to allow them to develop their tennis as much as they wish and to provide a framework of social, tournament or league tennis - with coaching support.

Tennis is a sport that can be played at any age - and we welcome new members of all ages and abilities. We offer a range of subscription options to suit your circumstances, all of which represent excellent value for money.
